AHAB

In one of the many errors at the appallingly inaccurate and overly sensationalist Demonbusters web site, one finds a page with the title "Learn About The Real Enemy - Satan and his Followers - Names of Satan and His Demons" which lists "Ahab" as a demon.   Jezebel is also on their list and Ahab was Jezebel's husband, so you didn't think that they would leave him off the list if they had Jezebel on it, did you?

Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, a Zidonian, and wife of Ahab (1 Kings 16:31).   The reason that her name is on this list (and all over the Demombusters web site) may be because the Bible tells us that she was an idolatress who persecuted the prophets of God (1 Kings 18:4,13,19; 2 Kings 3:2,13; 9:7,22) - but neither she, nor her husband Ahab, were certainly not demons!

This and the many other blatant inaccuracies at the Demombusters force one to ask the question: Do they really believe this stuff themselves or are they deliberately sensationalizing an already emotive subject for their own purposes?

PLEASE NOTE:
One of the major problems with 'defining' Paganism and/or its beliefs and practices is that it is an 'organic' movement, in that it is undergoing constant change and re-evaluation from within, and as such any 'one-size-fits-all' approach to understanding Paganism will be found wanting.

Due to the very 'organic' nature of Paganism, and the many differing Paths and Traditions within it, in many cases no one definition may be universally accepted by all Pagans.   Therefore, where such cases of possible conflicting and/or contradictory meanings of certain terms occur I have endevoured to give not only the generally accepted meaning, but also any major 'variations' in belief and/or practice.

Christians who believe this difference in meaning of certain key terms, beliefs and practices to be unique to Paganism need to remember that such conflicts also arise within the Body of Christ - the Church.   Take for instance the differing practices amongst Christians concerning Baptism and the different attitudes towards women in the clergy.
