FAERY WICCA
Properly speaking there is no one 'faery tradition' in Wicca as a number of Traditions claim this title. That said, most have the following points in common. Most forms of
Faery Wicca uses a mix of Celtic history and mythology. Common traits among followers include: intelligence, magickal ability, will-power, endurance, knowledge, and ability to lead. The Faery tradition claims there is a distinct difference between Faeries and Fairies, and describes their attributes and lineage. The religious belief is that Dana/Danu is God.
The concept of the Devil is foreign to Wiccans. Some Wiccan Traditions do acknowledge a figure called Lucifer, however. In this they are influenced by Charles Geoffrey Leland's book Aradia: Gospel of the Witches. In this case Lucifer is seen as a Promethean light bringer, referred to as the "god of the Sun and of the Moon, the god of Light", and not as the Devil or another name for Satan. As such Lucifer is found in Victor Anderson's version of the Faery Tradition of Wicca.

PLEASE NOTE:
One of the major problems with 'defining' Paganism and/or its beliefs and practices is that it is an 'organic' movement, in that it is undergoing constant change and re-evaluation from within, and as such any 'one-size-fits-all' approach to understanding Paganism will be found wanting.
Due to the very 'organic' nature of Paganism, and the many differing Paths and Traditions within it, in many cases no one definition may be universally accepted by all Pagans. Therefore, where such cases of possible conflicting and/or contradictory meanings of certain terms occur I have endevoured to give not only the generally accepted meaning, but also any major 'variations' in belief and/or practice.
Christians who believe this difference in meaning of certain key terms, beliefs and practices to be unique to Paganism need to remember that such conflicts also arise within the Body of Christ - the Church. Take for instance the differing practices amongst Christians concerning Baptism and the different attitudes towards women in the clergy.
